I’ve debated for a long time to get a bottle of Aesop Mouthwash.

Ok, the bottle is freaking awesome.

And it comes with a beaker for measuring.

But it’s also super expensive for a mouthwash ($25).

I went ahead and bought myself a bottle anyway because it’s paraben, animal-ingredient, and color additive free, and I’m glad I did.

The glass bottle heavily reminds me of a Jägermeister (haha), but it’s incredibly chic sitting on a bathroom vanity.

The Aesop Mouthwash contains clove bud, anise, and spearmint leaf for refreshing one's breath.

I was surprised to find that the mouthwash was not at all stingy or strong.

Some mouthwashes like Listerine burn my mouth to the point that I can’t gargle for more than 10 seconds (they recommend gargling for at least 30 seconds, preferably up to 60 seconds).

The Aesop Mouthwash is gentle on my mouth but does the job.

I had no trouble gargling.

If you’re used to strong minty flavors, you might be disappointed.

It has a soothing, herbal flavor.

Despite the gentle taste, it refreshes your mouth like no other mouthwash and lasts a long time. I love green onions, but whenever I eat them, I’m left with the not-so-fresh onion breath. The Aesop Mouthwash was the only one that lessened the onion breath.
