Alessi Mediterraneo Fruit Bowl

I’ve been eyeing various kitchen accessories from Alessi, an Italian housewares and kitchen utensil company that is known for its unique and creative designs.

And I got a chance to check out an Alessi store in Milan!

It’s difficult to find an offline store in the United States, so you get the excitement. The store was close to the hotel I was staying, and I could’ve spent hours there. 

The pieces are so unique and cool.

And I left the store with the Mediterranean Fruit Bowl in white. I initially wanted the chrome; however, it was unfortunately out of stock so I settled for the white color. Either way, I was happy with it.

The bowl is so pretty and doubles as a centerpiece when empty. I intended to display it out on the table with or without fruits, and I’m so glad I made the purchase.

The Alessi logo is printed on the bottom of the bowl, not at all conspicuous, which I like.

I got the small bowl, and it comfortably holds a few apples. I believe the bowl comes in larger sizes, as well.

So many people commented on how pretty the bowl is – as a functional, decorative centerpiece.
