I debated on getting the AirPods for the longest time ever, and I’m seriously wondering why I had waited this long. The AirPods will free you from wires that get snagged all the time and will enhance your music experience.

Apple wasn’t kidding when it said, “truly wireless”.
I’ve seen many “wireless” earphones, but none has the compatibility and portability like the AirPods. Most wireless earphones connect with phones (or other music-playing devices) via Bluetooth; however, the earbuds are usually connected by a wire. They are more convenient than traditional earphones, but they are still limited. On the other hand, the AirPods’ earbuds are completely separate and are not connected by any wires.

I was worried about the earbuds coming off easily, but they stay plugged in while I run. And if it were to come off, you’ll notice right away because the music will automatically stop playing.

Who would have known that the wires can be this annoying?
I have discovered a whole new world. My daily running has gotten more enjoyable and motivating because I don’t accidentally snag the wire and rip out the earbuds. That hurts. And I vacuum my apartment, even the narrow corners and under the bed, listening to my favorite tune.

The AirPods have a very reliable Bluetooth connection. I have never lost a connection in my apartment while doing various chores, and constantly moving around. Dyson cordless and the AirPods have significantly improved my cleaning habit, haha.

Now about the sound.
Yes, the base is pretty bad and I wouldn’t compare the sound with other high-end earphones from Bose or Band & Olufsen. I’m not a sound expert, but I could tell the inferior sound quality right away. Still, the AirPods deliver a clear and crisp sound, and I still enjoy my workout playlist when I’m running. Besides, their strength is the portability and wireless aspect, not the sound.

Another issue I have with the AirPods is the limited control options. You can play/pause a tune or summon Siri; however, you can’t skip/fast forward a track or control volumes.

For $160, although not cheap, I think they are more than worth the money, especially if you plan to do various physical activities while listening to music.
