I have just finished my bottles of Damage Remedy Restructuring shampoo and conditioner, and I’m getting some more today. I simply love them.

The Restructuring Shampoo is infused with quinoa protein to help repair and strengthen hair.

I use it daily, and it doesn’t dry my hair out as some shampoos do. I previously purchased a volumizing shampoo from Aveda, hoping that it would give my hair some extra volume. It didn’t drag my hair down, but it completely dried my hair out. The Restructuring shampoo isn’t like that.

The Restructuring Conditioner is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Personally, I think the conditioner is too light for those who have severely damaged hair. For a deeper, more intense remedy, I’ll check out the Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment.

Aveda's Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner is richer and instantly smoothens dry, damaged hair.

Thicker conditioners and treatments tend to weigh my hair down, so the Restructuring conditioner has been working out perfectly. It keeps my hair smooth and tangle-free but doesn’t weigh hair down.

Both shampoo and conditioner have the distinctive scent that most Aveda products seem to have – a natural, organic scent that is hard to describe. So I looked it up, and they are scented in Aveda’s own “pure-fume™ aroma” with certified organic bergamot, mandarin, ylang-ylang, and other pure flower and plant essences.

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of the scent because I don’t smell bergamot, mandarin or ylang-ylang. But the scent is very neutral and subtle, and it doesn’t linger after rinsing.

Here is a full list of ingredients listed on the Aveda website.

Followed by Aveda's paddle brush, my hair has less breakage and feels noticeably smoother. I don’t need to trim my split ends as frequently as I used to.
