Biokleen’s Bac-Out Stain Remover is un-freaking-believable. I have a shag rug that my puppy loves to urinate on. I guess the shag fibers remind him of grass? He is almost potty-trained, but whenever he makes a potty mistake, it’s always on the shag rug. I was a rather expensive rug, so I was eager to salvage it as best as I could. I tried many bestselling stain removers on Amazon without much luck.
I found Biokleen’s Stain Remover at Whole Foods, and I decided to give it a last try, fully prepared to be disappointed and toss out the rug. Why isn’t this a national bestseller? Why is Rug Doctor or Oxi Clean topping the bestselling chart?
I poured the remover directly onto the rug, waited about 10 minutes (more than what the directions recommended), and rubbed the area with a microfiber towel. It removed the stain AND the odor. I’m sure many people agree that urine odor is one of the hardest things to get rid of. It always lingers. I put my nose on the rug, and I couldn’t smell even the slightest trace of the urine.
Needless to say, I’ll be keeping the rug and buying this stain & odor remover in bulk, so I can be prepared for the next “accident”.
