I’ve been living without Clorox for quite a number of years now. The typical Clorax scent gave me a headache, and it would linger for many hours even after I rinse it out thoroughly. There was no point in using Clorox to clean my house if it was going to be giving me headaches, so I gladly switched to bleach alternatives. I’ve been a loyal customer of Ecover Bleach Alternative; however, I was always wishing that it would be available in powder form. Liquid bleach alternatives (and bleach, as well) tend to splash whenever I’d pour them, so I had to be really careful. Powdered bleach solves that problem, and that’s why I ordered Biokleen’s Oxygen Bleach Plus. I’ve never used Biokleen products before, but so far, I’m loving this bleach!

It’s highly concentrated (3X), so a little goes a long way. A standard 2lb jar gives you 32 loads. I only use bleach on my white towels, so it’s going to last me a while.

It doesn’t pack the nasty chlorine smell, but it gets the job done!

Biokleen Oxygen Bleach Plus is made with sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, hydrogen peroxide, sodium gluconate, glycerin, and sodium chloride. It tackles tough stains and odors very efficiently without the off-putting smell or headaches!

Measuring Spoon is from Nellie's Dishwashing Powder

The only downside I noticed was that it doesn’t include a measuring cup or spoon. I thought it was buried inside the powder, but it does not come with a spoon. Fortunately, I kept a measuring spoon that came with Nellie’s Dishwashing powder. But I wish Biokleen decides to include one in their bleach.
