Refill is the New Recycle!
I’ve been meaning to switch to refillable hand soaps for ages. I recently switched to Blueland’s Foaming Hand Soap tablets and reusable bottles, and I’m quite satisfied. From refillable glass bottles to compact soap refill tablets, Blueland’s Foaming Hand Soap is a hot contender for those who’re looking for eco-friendly, refillable foaming hand soap.

I’m particularly fond of the glass bottle because it’s much more hygienic than the plastic one. Over time, plastic bottles harbor bacteria, so the concept of “endless refills” doesn’t apply to them. These glass bottles, however, can be used semi-permanently as long as it is sanitized in between the refills. I just toss it in the dishwasher to get it cleaned when the bottle’s empty, and I get a squeaky clean and fresh bottle. I just hope the pump doesn’t die on me! (*Blueland sells separate pumps, as well)

There is a handful of different soap fragrances (some seasonal and limited-edition). This time I got the Lavender Eucalyptus, Iris Agave, and Perrine Lemon.

The instructions are super simple. Fill, drop and clean!
I filled the bottle with hot water, dropped the soap tablet, and waited until it completely dissolved.

My personal favorite among the three scents is the Lavender Eucalyptus. But all of them have very mild and subtle scents, which don’t linger once I rinse my hands.
