Seasonal changes can be rough on the skin, especially when the weather’s getting colder and drier.
My usual moisturizer was not moisturizing enough and drying my skin out.
I didn’t want to opt for facial oils or balms because I’m not a fan of their oily and heavy textures.
I came across the Extra Repair Moisture Cream from Bobbi Brown, and it was the perfect solution for my drying skin with the perfect texture!

Bobbi Brown has a whole line of skincare products dedicated to combating drying skin, especially in winter. They are also effective for maturing skins, I’ve heard.
The Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm is the original version, but for those who prefer smoother cream, Bobbi Brown offers the Extra Repair Moisture Cream. Unlike the balm, I can spread the cream easily, and it goes on like butter. No need to melt it between my fingers.

I have completely emptied the jar at the time of posting this, so there isn’t a photo showing the texture of the cream. But it is the perfect blend of balm and cream that gets absorbed into the skin.
Initially, I thought the price was pretty high ($100 for 1.7 fl oz.), but a jar lasted me several months because I didn’t need much. A pea-sized amount was all I needed to cover my entire face. Besides, I don’t think I’ll be using it in summer; it will be on the heavier side.

Made with sunflower oil, essential fatty acids, glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, and shea butter, the Extra Repair Moisture Cream protects the skin’s essential barrier while retaining moisture. The cream is paraben, phthalate, sulfate, and sulfite free.
My skin doesn’t flake or dry out anymore, and I feel comfortable throughout the day, even when the heater’s on.
