If you own a Brabantia trash can, you must already be a fan of its matching trash bags. They are a little pricier and more difficult to find than regular trash bags; however, I insist on these trash bags. I know, why be fussy about trash bags, right? But it’s the little things that make household chores a little more fun and pleasant. It’s the little things.

I always need to go to the Container Store to get these trash bags because that’s the only store that carries these bags (that I know of). It means one more stop to make when I’m running errands, but it’s worth the extra trip.

Brabantia trash bags offer a custom fit to its various can sizes, so you can keep your trash can as tidy and neat as possible. Finding a trash bag that fits like gloves is important to me because a tight and secure fit keeps trash neatly inside.

The bags are alphabet and color-coded, so you can identify the corresponding trash can and bag easily. If you own a Brabantia trash can, the recommended trash bag is indicated somewhere on the trash can (usually inside, below the lid).

Trash bags are neatly rolled inside the plastic wrapper. The only downside I found about these trash bags is the packaging. It’s practically impossible to tear the plastic packaging straight, and I’ll have to take out the whole roll and store it in a cupboard or a drawer because there is no way to pull out one bag at a time.

But I’d choose a tighter-fitting trash bag over this minor nuisance.

The bags have pre-punctured holes to help with a better fit. When you put in a new bag, sometimes the air gets trapped in between the trash bag and the can, creating this uncomfortable bulge. It decreases that space efficiently. You won’t have that problem with Brabantia trash bags! The punctured holes on the bag ensure the trash bag lies flat, without any trapped air.

So worth the premium and hassle!
