A friend who’s visited Korea brought me a box of these chocolates.

His Korean friend took him to a small chocolatier in Seoul that makes small batches of fine quality chocolates: Cacao Boom (Pronounced “Bom”, meaning chocolate tree in Dutch).



He commented their hot cocoa was amazing – rich and decadent.

The chocolate box was beautifully wrapped in a festive ribbon, and the chocolates taste awesome.



The chocolates are free of artificial coloring, additives or preservatives. 

And the owner insists on making Belgian traditional chocolate, using only 100% cacao butter.



The gift box included 18 individual chocolates, and I really enjoyed their rich flavor without being overly sweet.



My personal favorite was the matcha (green tea) chocolates.

Soft matcha filling was cased inside decadent dark chocolate and was generously coated in matcha powder. 

So good.



The rich buttery chocolate melts in my mouth, and it is quite an experience.

If you’re planning a trip to Seoul, I highly suggest visiting Cacao Boom.
