I’ve been frustrated with adhesive felt pads that you stick on the chair legs because they would always slide out from repeated uses. They slowly slide out and collect all kinds of dog hair, dirt and human hair, becoming all nasty and gross. And then one day, they would mysteriously fall out on their own and end up in my dog’s mouth.

I still needed to protect the hardwood floors from getting scratched, so eventually, I found a better and more permanent solution.

I found these Chair Leg Floor Protectors from Amazon. There are countless protectors from different sellers, so you can go with whichever you like, but make sure to measure the size of the chair leg. The ill-fitting protectors are the last thing you’d want.

You get 16 protectors (for 4 chairs), and they come neatly arranged in a box. I almost didn’t think they were the chair protectors when I first opened the package.

I also got a cork coaster (I’m guessing?) as a freebie.

The transparent mold is flexible and is pre-cut on the sides for easier fit.

And felt pads are securely attached to the bottom of the protector.

Although transparent, they still show (they are not invisible), but they stay on and don’t fall out. Unless you lift the chair and move it around, these protectors stay put.

They are excellent, and my floors are finally, permanently protected from the constant chair pulling.
