I’ve been looking for a tray for my brand-new Balmuda Toaster.
The inside of the oven becomes a mess whenever I toast flakey pastries or Danishes. Cream cheese fillings, powdered sugar, or cherry jam fillings ooze out and ruin the heating element.

It needed to be some kind of a tray that fits into the slot, so it catches the debris and contains them. Chicago Metallic’s Toaster Oven set was exactly what I was looking for, and it included other useful accessories at a bargain price.
I initially needed a small tray that fits inside the toaster oven, but I fell right into the marketing scheme and convinced myself that I’ll be needing the cooling rack, cake pan, and a muffin mold. But seriously, I needed the cake pan and muffin mold, lol.
I carefully checked the measurements before placing an order because the whole set was moot if it wasn’t going to fit inside my toaster oven. The pieces fit like gloves and almost look custom.
The set includes a total of 4 pieces: a muffin mold, cake pan, tray, and cooling rack.
The cooling rack fits inside the tray for easy storage and baking.
The pieces have non-stick coatings, so even if some cheese melts out of my panini and to the tray, I wouldn’t have to scrub it so hard to get it out. For the cake and muffin pan, I still spray a bit of baking spray (out of habit, mostly), but probably it is not necessary.
They are dishwasher safe; however, the manufacturer recommends hand washing them to extend the product life and non-stick property of them.
The pans are small, and hand washing them is not as annoying as washing larger, full-size baking sheets.
The tray protects my toaster oven from crumbs, cheese, and various other fillings, so the toaster can function optimally. I’ve considered other trays (trays alone) that are as expensive as the Chicago Metallics set, and I would’ve regretted it if I had bought them.
The set makes a great accessory to any toaster oven!
