Chilewich's set of Hex Coasters ($20) with eye-catching, modern prints are so pretty. I love Chilewich table accessories because Chilewich textiles are durable, easy to care for, and modern – perfect for my contemporary home.
I purchased my coasters from Barney’s a few years back, but there are many retailers that are authorized resellers of Chilewich products. As many of you know, Barney's is sadly no longer in business.

On the back of each coaster, you can find the label with its dimension, style number and manufactured country (USA, yay!).
The felt backing securely grips the coaster from sliding around.

Each coaster features a different pattern to keep things interesting. Even when grouped together, though, the coasters don’t look messy or unorganized at all.

The coasters come with a rubber elastic to keep them together if you need to store them. The elastic holds the coasters together tightly and securely.

I find these hexagonal coasters to be a lot more practical and functional than Chilewich’s other coasters like Dahlia that has holes. I find Dahlia placemats and coasters to be really unique and darling; however, they serve decorative purposes only, in my opinion. For instance, if you’re serving ice-cold drinks, Dahlia coasters fail to catch any water that drips and end up leaving watermarks on my table, defeating the purpose of using a coaster.

You can arrange the coasters like a beehive when you’re casually displaying them on a tabletop or a side table. I’m currently using them in my living room, and I’m thinking about purchasing another set for the dining table.
