I don’t like overly perfume-y hand soaps, but lately, I can’t get enough of the Rosemary Mint Hand Wash from C.O. Bigelow. I discovered the soap when I was visiting my friend’s house. Her guest bathroom was stocked with toiletries from C.O. Bigelow, a New York apothecary brand founded in 1838.

The hand soap cleaned my hands without drying them out, and the fragrance was so pleasant to my surprise. These soaps are scented, but not overwhelmingly so.

There are a lot more diverse scent options on the C.O. Bigelow website, but I purchased the Rosemary Mint Hand Wash and Lotion duo from Nordstrom to get free shipping. Gotta love Nordstrom for its great shipping policy. My friend had the Rosemary Mint, and that was the scent I fell in love with, so I knew I was going to enjoy it.

The duo comes in a sturdy cardboard box wrapped in a red ribbon. I might get another set for a Christmas gift as the green hand soap and the red ribbon look so festive together. It is a great hand soap with a nice, fresh scent. I love how it’s not too floral and feminine because hand soaps should be enjoyed by everyone in my family.

The soap lathers very well, and the refreshing mint scent takes the hand-washing experience to a different level. The soap contains pro-vitamin B5 and aloe vera to soothe and moisturize skin.

I’m so glad I got the wash and lotion duo. The body lotion is so moisturizing and leaves my hands and body soft. I leave the duo on a vanity tray and don’t need to use a separate body lotion. It quickly absorbs into the skin and isn’t greasy. I’ve been even pickier with lotions than soaps, and many lotions in duo sets have been disappointing. The Rosemary Mint body lotion, however, is so soothing and relaxing.

I now keep multiple sets in stock so I don’t ever have to run out of these.
