I’m a believer who thinks prevention is better than any treatment, so I started adding Cosequin DS to my dog’s diet. She’s been on it for a few years now, and she’s the picture of health – full of energy!
Cosequin DS is supposed to help maintain optimal joint functions, so your dog can maintain a healthier lifestyle. Just like we humans take glucosamine to support bone health, dogs, especially larger breeds, benefit greatly from glucosamine supplements.
We have gone through countless bottles of Cosequin Ds, and I intend to purchase them over and over again. She likes the taste of these tablets, so administering the daily dosage (2 tablets – because my dog’s in the maintenance level) is not at all a challenge. She thinks of these as her daily treats now.
Make sure the bottle is sealed both inside and out.
My dog hasn’t shown any signs of discomfort or limping, and she is never lethargic. I can’t say that her liveliness is directly correlated to Cosequin Ds as there are many factors that contribute to her health. But so far, I’m happy with the results and the way she’s behaving. Can’t hurt!
