I’ve heard so many good things about these vases from Crate and Barrel, and I finally purchased the duo for myself. They are not actually sold as a set, but many people pair them together to make the space more visually interesting. And I just love the way they look together. The Adra and Rati vases have different patterns, but they keep the vases from looking too matchy-matchy. The overall color and shape still bind them together for a coherent look.
The creamy white color goes well with almost any style and decor. You can always use a splash of white, right? And the white really brings out the colors of the flowers. I fully use these vases to decorate my house seasonally because they are such neutral canvas. Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, you name the occasion. Oh, and the vases look beautiful just sitting empty, too – double as decorative objects.
Their weights are quite substantial. They are not the heaviest vases in the world, but they do have substantial weight to avoid tipping over. The base is steady and level, so you won’t have to worry about the vase losing balance, especially when it’s filled with water.
These vases are also super durable. I dropped the Rati vase when I was decorating our built-in shelf. I was sure that it would shatter on my tile floor, but it survived with a minor crack. Considering how everything breaks on my porcelain tile floor, the Rati vase is invincible!
For the price, I cannot ask for more. These will make tremendous gifts as well since they appeal to so many people. I have not yet found other vases that I like this much, and these are going to be around for a while!
