It’s so hard to find a quality duvet cover that comes with a zipper. When it comes to bedding basics like sheets, shams, and duvet covers, they need to be convenient and shouldn’t take long to change out. I wash my bedding that comes in contact with my body – pillowcases, sheets, and duvet cover - every week, and I’ve been so frustrated with button closures. It takes forever to unbutton 10 or so buttons to get my duvet out and button them back to wash. And I need to do that all over again when I’m putting the duvet back in.

When I saw Crate and Barrel had duvet covers with a zipper closure, I literally ran out to get the Lindstrom Duvet Cover. It is a Crate and Barrel exclusive, and comes in 6 neutral and modern colors.

And yes, they really do come with a zipper closure and inner corner ties to keep the duvet in place. It is going to save me a tremendous time weekly.

These covers and shams are even more beautiful in person. I wanted to get all 6 colors because each color is so neutral and soothing. I bought the king duvet cover in Ivory, which is a beautiful off-white color.

The cover is 100% cotton and the uneven 3D texture keeps the cover looking boring and ordinary. The duvet cover hides wrinkles very well because of the texture.

The back of the cover is made of smooth, plain cotton. It is so soft and comfortable.
The king-size cover fits my duvet well, but it is slightly on the larger size. Larger is better than smaller, so no complaints there. And I’m thinking that it will gradually shrink little by little, so it should be okay.

The care label encourages you to air dry the cover, but I put it in a dryer at a lower temperature setting because it’s cotton. It hasn’t shrunk or lost its shape. Putting the cover in a dryer helps with the lint, as well.

I’m tossing away all the buttoned duvet covers now!
