Delta Contemporary Pot Filler

Including a pot filler in my kitchen was one of the best renovation decisions I’ve made during the remodel. I was worried about not having a basin under, so I wanted to get a dual-valve, quality pot filler that wouldn’t fail on me.

I got the Delta Faucet 1165LF-AR Pot Filler Faucet due to its contemporary design. Many of the pot fillers out there are more on the traditional side, so I was happy to discover that this faucet had a more streamlined look.

Look how modern and contemporary this is!

The faucet also has the dual shut off valves to avoid any spillage or dripping. This feature is a must when you’re installing a faucet without a sink basin.

The arm extends smoothly, and it covers my entire stovetop (5 burners) so no burner goes unreached.

Delta wasn’t kidding about the flow rate. It’s not one of those skimpy water spout that takes forever to fill a pot. I make broths in bulk on weekends (so it can last the next week), and filling my stock pot has never been easier. I do not have to carry the pot full of water from my main sink to the stove. One less heavy lifting to worry about. It is, indeed a “pot” filler.

I also use it to fill the coffee machine reservoir because the water flow is so good. It fills up the reservoir in no time and saves a trip to the sink that’s across the island. Call me spoiled, but it is so useful in the hectic mornings!

If you’re in the process of renovating or building a new house, I strongly suggest a pot filler. If installed correctly, it is such a functional and convenient feature.
