I have a hard time sticking to one fragrance.
This is me:
I fall in love with a perfume I tested at a department store. I get a sample size to take home and enjoy the scent for a week until I decide to get a full size. I eventually buy the full-size perfume, love it for like a month and don’t reach for it anymore. Am I the only person?
I have a drawer full of perfumes that I don’t reach for. And when I bought them, they felt like “the fragrance”.

There is one exception to my extremely fickle perfume-picking nature: Diptyque’s Do Son.
I loved it 3 years ago when I first bought it, and I still wear it daily.

I’ve been buying the 50ml bottles because I was worried that I would eventually get sick of the fragrance. And it’s my 3rd 50ml bottle purchase. Ha!
I should really stick to the 100ml next time.

Whenever I smell Do Son, it has a strong tuberose note along with a hint of orange blossom and jasmine. It is mostly tuberose, so if you’re not a fan of its floral characteristic, it may not be the perfume for you. But, I can confidently say that it’s a very unique, distinctive scent. And a hard-to-forget one.

Do Son’s irresistible scent was first inspired by Yves Coueslant’s childhood days in Vietnam.
The seaside pagoda Coueslant had spent most of his summers in is beautifully illustrated on the label.

Do Son is available in EDT (Eau De Toilette) and EDF (Eau De Parfum).
The black bottle is EDF.
Although Do Son is unique and full of character, it’s surprisingly easy to wear.
I find some heavier, seductive perfumes are not appropriate for offices; however, Do Son can be worn on any day for all kinds of occasions.
From the office to weekend brunches, Do Son is my go-to perfume.
Simply irresistible!
