My son was complaining about chapped lips, and he asked me to get him an unscented, clear-colored lip balm (emphasis on unscented and clear-colored). I bought Dr. Bronner’s Naked Organic Lip Balm since my son happily uses Dr. Bronner’s Castille Soap, and it’s another winner.

Dr. Bronner’s Naked Organic Lip Balm is truly “naked”, containing no synthetic ingredients. The biggest concern I have with so many lip balms out there is petroleum and mineral oils. Unlike such lip balms, the Naked Organic Lip Balm is made with organic beeswax and jojoba-avocado-hemp oils. Wow, finally, ingredients that I can pronounce and understand.
The ingredients are all sourced from USDA-certified organic oils, and Dr. Bronner’s does not practice animal testing.

Before the first use, you have to peel off the perforation by the cap. The seal keeps the lip balm fresh and discourages people from “testing” it. I’ve seen people open a new package, “test” it out, and put it back.

Its compact size fits in any pocket, purse, backpack, or pouch. The size is about the same as Burt’s Bee lip balms. In fact, the container feels remarkably similar to Burt’s Bee lip balms.
The balm goes on incredibly smoothly and keeps my son’s lips hydrated.
I’ve used it myself as well, and it keeps my lips moisturized all day long. I rarely have to reapply it, even in drier months. I apply it at bedtime and in the morning before I put on my makeup, and that’s it!
I’ll be purchasing one for every member of my family. It’s simply the best lip balm out there.
