My husband and I always enjoy freshly-baked pound cakes, and this Easy Fast Delish cake mix makes a loaf of delicious lemon pound cake. What’s better is that it only takes 10 minutes to prep, making it an easy weekday recipe.
The ingredients are simple, and you probably have everything you need at home. Eggs, butter, and milk are all you need, so no need to go for a grocery run. Oh, but you will need an electric mixer (a handheld mixer with a whisk attachment works fine, too!).
The directions are easy to follow, and each packet was labeled clearly so you don’t accidentally put the glaze mix with the ingredients.
I did need to bake longer than the recommended time (50-55 minutes). The toothpick did not come out clean even after 55 minutes, so I baked it for another 5 minutes (total of 60 minutes).
I should’ve poured the glaze a little more gracefully, but oh well, it was still delicious regardless.
The lemon cake was so moist in the center, and the crusty glaze added a pinch of sweetness.
I bake this quite often now, and a loaf of cake makes many servings of breakfast and afternoon snacks with coffee.
