The Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask is another winner from Fresh, and honestly, I’ll cry if Fresh discontinues this. The Rose Mask excels at boosting hydration, but the Lotus Mask is something else. It literally brightens my complexion.
It is ideal for all skin types, and it targets uneven skin tone, texture, and dullness.
The Lotus Mask is thicker in texture than the Rose Mask. It is infused with a blend of kombu seaweed, red algae, and lotus seed powder. You can see the bits of seaweed and algae. These bits actually provide a mild exfoliation when I rinse my face. The Lotus Mask is not as gentle as the Rose Mask, so I use it sparingly, twice a week-ish.
Both Fresh masks have inner lids to prevent the product from shifting around and gunk up the outer lid.
I can immediately tell my skin is brighter and more radiant. The exfoliation leaves my skin feeling so soft without drying or irritating it. I’m not a fan of most exfoliators (Fresh Sugar Scrub included) because they’re way too rough on my sensitive skin. The Lotus Mask, however, is much milder. So, I ditched all the exfoliating products – deluxe samples and full-size “mild” exfoliating cleansers that I bought hoping for a gentle exfoliating action -. The Lotus Mask is all I need. I always use this mask when I have an important meeting, a picture day, a wedding to attend, etc. It really is a 5-minute rescue mask.
