This is my all-time favorite facial cleanser. I have diverged and bought different cleansers from time to time, simply out of curiosity; however, I found myself coming back to the Soy Face Cleanser. The other cleansers I’ve tried ended up being returned (because they were downright horrible – skin irritation or breakouts) or eventually getting tossed out after sitting deep inside the cabinet. I now know better not to buy other cleansers.

Fresh came up with a limited-edition value size to celebrate Soy Face Cleanser’s 20th anniversary. For all these years, Soy Face Cleanser has continued to impress many, and it’s quickly become a cult-favorite, bestselling facial cleanser. I love these limited-edition value sizes since they are better deals. I know I’m going to love it, so whenever I see these bigger sizes available, I go for them.

Soy Face Cleanser contains soy proteins, rosewater, and cucumber extract to help maintain skin elasticity while effectively removing all traces of dirt and makeup. Rosewater and cucumber extract are two main ingredients to balance and soothe the skin without stripping essential moisture. Many facial cleansers labeled as makeup removers performed like bar soaps, completely removing all moisture from the skin; therefore, my skin often felt dehydrated and tight. Might as well use bar soaps that cost much, much less. Fresh’s Soy Face Cleanser has a lightweight gel texture that goes on smoothly. I apply a quarter-sized cleanser on a wet face, and it effortlessly removes all my makeup.

And it keeps skin irritation at a minimum, as well. The cleanser doesn’t contain any “exfoliating beads”, which I believe can do more harm than good if used daily. Soy Face Cleanser is meant for daily use, and its gentle formula isn’t invasive. Whenever I need some exfoliation from time to time, I simply mix a bit of facial scrub, and it does the job wonderfully.
Soy Face Cleanser does not contain sulfates, SLS, SLES, parabens, and phthalates; however, it is not a completely “natural” product. Below is the complete list of ingredients, and if you have any known sensitivity or allergy, make sure to check the list before purchasing. The cleanser has never caused any trouble or irritation on my skin; however, everyone reacts differently to products.
