I’ve been meaning to get a wooden produce brush, and this vegetable brush from Full Circle works wonderfully and looks beautiful.
For those who are not familiar with produce brushes, they are stiff scrubbing brushes specifically designed to clean produce such as apples, zucchinis, or eggplants.
Lightly scrubbing the surface gets them squeaky clean so I won’t need to worry about consuming waxy film, dirt, or pesticide.
The bamboo handle feels very comfortable and doesn’t slip out easily.
I like the rounded handle better than straight ones because it’s easier to maneuver and clean circular produce like apples.
The bristles are pretty stiff - but not so stiff that they hurt your hands – and get all the produce clean. All I need is a tablespoon full of baking soda!
I leave the brush out by the sink so I can easily reach for it whenever I need it, and I can air dry it.
My family can safely enjoy various vegetables and fruits without peeling the skin, where most vitamins are found.
