I was always a Gain over Tide person, and I’ve always loved their laundry detergent. It cleans so well, and the scent is unparalleled in the market.
Gain’s +Aroma Boost is a relatively new detergent variety that promises a phenomenally long-lasting scent. It is available in several scent varieties, including Gain’s Original, Tropical Sunrise, and Moonlight Breeze that’s powered by Febreeze.
They were serious when they meant “aroma boost”. The fresh, clean laundry scent lasts for WEEKS, if I store my laundry properly in a linen closet or drawer. My kids comment on how good their towels and clothes smell every time I do their laundry.
Like most liquid laundry detergent, the cap doubles as a measuring cup, and depending on the load or soil level, you can choose from 1 to 5. The back of the bottle offers the recommended amount per load. I never needed to go beyond the 1 because even that’s a lot of detergents. All my laundry came out clean and smelling fresh.
The specially designed spout keeps the detergent from pouring out.
Even if the cap has some leftover detergent, it goes back to the detergent bottle because the spout is slanted downward to catch all drips.
I hardly use scent boosters or fabric softeners because the scent is definitely present. I worry adding scent boosters is going to be overkill and the scent is going to be too overwhelming.
