Forget about other plastic wraps and switch to Press’N Seal. Aluminum foil, plastic wrap (Cling Wrap), and Ziploc bags have been must-have supplies in my kitchen, but the plastic wrap has been replaced with Glad’s Press N Seal. I’ve been exclusively using this for many months, and I don’t think I’ll be purchasing regular plastic wraps anymore.

Press’N Seal is similar to plastic wraps, but it has a sealing property that tightly attaches to various surfaces, therefore creating a leak-proof and airtight seal.

Unlike regular plastic wrap that “clings” onto surfaces or foods, Press’N Seal “sticks”, like tape with a weak adhesive.

And like plastic wraps, they can be microwaved.

As soon as I press the wrap on the rims of the cup/dish/other surfaces, it creates a flat, leak-proof seal that is great for food storage or other uses.

I mainly use it in the kitchen, but I’m hearing other creative uses for the wrap from craft projects to temporarily keeping the paintbrushes from drying out.

I used the wrap to keep my acrylic paint from drying out, and it provides an excellent seal and protection.

It seals many surfaces including wood, paper, metal, glass, ceramic, stainless steel, and stoneware, to name a few.

And it can double as an impromptu Ziploc bag to hold sandwiches or light snacks. Unlike the Ziploc bags, you can adjust the sizes of the bags as well. That’s an added bonus if you need a less-than-conventional-sized bag.

The only frustration I had with Press’N Seal was the cutter.

Apparently, I wasn’t the only one with the issue because Glad improved the cutter bar.

The new Press’N Seal features an improved cutter bar that ensures cleaner cuts. I remember the very first time I purchased the roll of Press’N Seal before the upgraded cutter bar. The wrap bunched up whenever I tried to cut it, and that was frustrating.

Since the only downside has been fixed, I really can’t think of any negative aspect – simply perfection.
