I love detergent pods, and I’m excited to see many brands, including eco-friendly and natural brands, are now coming up with detergent pods as opposed to traditional plain liquid and powder forms. Grab Green is one of my favorite household brands, and recently it launched a new line of products, Stoneworks®, so I had to give it a try.
I generally liked the Grab Green laundry detergents, but the Stoneworks® Laundry Detergent Pods have the loveliest scent of all. There are 5 natural scents, Rose Petal, Olive Leaf, Birch Branch, Oak Tree, and Rain (fragrance-free). All of them smell wonderful, and you can actually “experience” the fragrance by squeezing the packaging before purchase. I love rose-scented everything, so I’m a little biased here, but I fell in love with the Rose Petal scent. It smells so natural and light as if I’m walking right through a rose bush in early summer. It does not smell like laundry detergent at all.
Grab Green’s detergent pods are plain white powder pods to keep them looking uninteresting, so they don’t attract children’s attention as a safety measure. Considering how colorful Tide Pods invited so many disasters over the years, I don’t mind the plain white pods at all. In addition, Grab Green developed their pods to contain 4 layers of safety, and you can read about them on the back of the packaging.
The packaging is constructed from Kraft paper and printed with water-based inks to facilitate recycling and reduce plastic consumption. The paper packaging evokes some industrial vibe, sitting on the laundry room shelf. There is something nostalgic about it.
The pods are designed for all water temperatures. I wash all my workout gear in cold water two to three times a week, and the pods completely dissolved every time. Just make sure to toss the pod first directly inside the drum, before adding clothing.

Each bag contains 50 powder pods, equivalent to 50 regular loads. And the detergent is high-efficiency washer compatible.
