I bought this set of Greenbone WonderPet’s tennis balls while I was getting some dog food from Whole Foods Market. Whole Foods’ own line of dog food is my dog’s favorite, both the flavor and digestion, it seems. These tennis balls were a little pricier than I’d hoped, but I wanted to give them a try anyway. Greenbone WonderPet claims that these balls are free of chemicals and made with non-abrasive felt, so they won’t wear down dogs’ teeth.
They’re tennis balls. There’s nothing special about them, but we all know dogs go crazy for them!

Each ball measures about 2.5 inches, about the same size as any other tennis ball.
The ball isn’t too bouncy, which is great for elderly dogs like mine. In fact, I don’t think these balls bounce at all. He happily chases one down and fetches it!
I like the idea of these safer tennis balls for dogs, and it’s worth a try if you see them nearby.
