Greenies are the only dental care treats I buy for my dogs.
I’ve tried similar oral care treats from Sam’s Club, Trader Joe’s, or other brands like Blue Wilderness, Whimzees; however, Greenies seem to deliver the most effective results.

First, Greenies effectively remove tartar and plaque that cause bad breath.
If you have the time and patience to brush your dog’s teeth, great, I’m jealous. My dog is the most skeptical creature when it comes to grooming, so I know it’s going to be a daily struggle if I were to manually brush his teeth. He is wary of ear cleaning and detests monthly baths.
So instead, I give out a Greenie every night. And he gets so excited whenever I open a jar full of Greenies. He would come running at me, knowing that he was going to get a Greenie.
Foul breaths are definitely something that I want to avoid, and I immediately notice a difference in my dog’s breath when I skip a Greenie.

Like most dental treats, Greenies have a unique toothbrush shape that reaches all the way to the gum. Each treat is pretty hard, but my dog enjoys chewing on it and doesn’t take him long to finish one.

I tried to save a few bucks by buying the Sam’s Club brand dog dental treats, but they don’t clean as effectively as Greenies. If you’re going to spend money on dog oral treats, it’s so much better to invest in more effective dental treats.

Greenies are offered in Teenie, Petite, Regular and Large based on your dog’s weight. Each size indicates the recommended weight range, as well. My dog’s been getting Regular Greenies, and they seem to thoroughly clean my dog’s teeth.
