Got a new puppy or adopted a dog? Start your dog’s dental hygiene routine early with Greenies. I’ve seen immediate results with my dog, and I cannot recommend Greenies enough to other dog owners.

My dog has developed a foul breath lately, and I’ve been miserably failing at attempting to brush his teeth. I have a 95 lbs rottweiler, and wrestling with him is not easy. Given the rotties’ suspicious nature, he gets extremely wary of this weird object – toothbrush. I resorted to dental treats, and I’m having phenomenal success with Greenies.

I’ve tried many dog dental treats from different brands, including Kirkland, Sam’s Club, Trader Joe’s and Whimzees. But they all fell short of Greenies, the original dog dental treats. I was hoping that the lower-end generic would work just as effective as Greenies, so I could save some money, but none addressed the foul breath as well as Greenies.

Now I always get the super pack because that gives me the most savings, and the treats come in 2 tinfoil bags with locking seals. Unfortunately, I don’t find the seal very effective (in fact, the seal doesn’t even shut tight most of the time), so I transfer them into a separate Ziploc bag.

The best part is that my dog LOVES these. I don’t need to coax him into eating one because he’s already drooling.

Yes, it is quite expensive. If you can brush your dog’s teeth every night, I encourage you to keep them up as no dental treat is as effective as manual brushing.

I’d love to brush my dog’s teeth too, if he wouldn’t resist as if his life depended on. But if you’re like me who’s failing to brush the dog’s teeth, administer Greenies. You won’t be sorry.
