Greenies Really Are the Best Oral Care Products for Dogs

As dogs get older, their oral health starts to decline.

And foul-smelling breath is one of the first signs of tartar buildup and unhealthy gum.

My dog is now 8.

Her teeth are clean and her breath doesn’t smell bad ever since I’ve administered Greenies every night.

I give Greenies to my dog every day after her meal. It appears that she enjoys them more than her food!

Greenies come in multiple sizes to choose from depending on your dog’s weight.

When your dog’s weight is in between sizes, I suggest going up a size if your dog has a pointier snout like a German Shepherd or Spitz mix.

My dog has no problem digesting the Original Greenies; however, there are Grain Free options as well for dogs who have a food sensitivity.

The expiration date is printed on the plastic bag.

The box contains two plastic refill bags (12 treats each).

The refill bags feature a resealable zipper; however, it never works so I pour them in a separate airtight container.

I’ve subscribed to Chewy’s Auto-Ship program, so I can get the additional savings and prompt shipping on schedule. The larger box is almost always cheaper, and I get the 36oz box. It includes 24 treats.

In my opinion, Greenies are not some glorified, overpriced treats. 

They provide wholesome dental care by preventing tartar buildup and keeping gum clean.
