I’ve tried a fair number of “fluoride-free” toothpaste, in search of the best toothpaste that works for me. Some might argue that it’s just toothpaste, and as long as it cleans your teeth, why bother being so picky about it? I don’t mind using bar soap to wash my hair, but I’m super OCD about oral care products.

I picked this up on a whim, and this may be the best toothpaste I’ve tried so far. It’s perfectly balanced – the flavor, cleanliness, and ingredients. I bought the Simply Mint flavor, and it’s a very pleasant minty flavor. I prefer Spearmint, but it wasn’t available at the store. Because I’m so impressed with this toothpaste, I’ll be looking for the Spearmint flavor online.

It cleans my teeth effectively, and honestly, there’s not much to comment on the toothpaste itself. I believe it’s all about brushing, not toothpaste when it comes to actually cleaning the teeth. Most toothpaste these days excels at getting one’s teeth cleaned.

Because the toothpaste lathers really well, I only need a pea size to brush my teeth. In fact, I was surprised to discover that it was SLS free!
The toothpaste is fluoride free – the main reason I tried this toothpaste in the first place. And it’s also free of triclosan, carrageenan and gluten. Himalaya also claims that it doesn’t do any animal testing, so that’s also good to hear.

I’m so glad I discovered this!
