These are much better than Ricola! I need to keep a bag of cough drops at all times, in case I get sick. I live in Los Angeles, and the temperature fluctuates during the day. It’s 90 degrees during the day and suddenly drops down to the 60s, so cardigans and cough drops are always in my car! From time to time, I get a sore throat when the temperature drops down too quickly (probably a compromised immune system), and these Honees cough drops do the trick.
They have real honey inside and do not contain any nasty chemicals. I bought 2 flavors – Honey and Honey Lemon, and honestly, they’re both really good.
Each bag contains 20 king-sized drops, all individually wrapped. They are not kidding when they said, “king-sized” because they’re oversized! I was pleasantly surprised to discover how large they were compared to other cough drops like Ricola or Halls.
In terms of the flavors, they are not as minty as Halls. If you’re used to the strong menthol flavor of Halls, these might disappoint you. I personally don’t care for Halls, so this sweeter flavor is better.
