If you're looking for a mopping robot to cover a relatively small but highly-trafficed area, the Braava Jet is going to be the perfect option for you.
My kitchen floors get a lot of traffic every day, and the color and nature of the wood grains show any dirt, stains or water marks easily. I've been using the Braava Jet and the matching pads to sweep and mop the kitchen floors, and I'm totally content and satisfied.
The mopping robot is compact in size, and it's portable, thanks to its carry handle.
The components are simple and intuitive. The robot consists of water tank, pad release lever and a on/off button to start the cleaning.
You can refill water through this reservoir opening.

There are 3 Braava Jet pads to choose from -
Dry Sweeping, Wet Mopping and Damp Sweeping.

The Dry Sweeping Pads are similar to Swiffer pads. With the Dry Sweeping Pad, the robot sweeps the floor and picks up light debris and hair.
They're great for pre-mopping by prepping the floors.
The Dry Sweeping Pads are safe to be used on all surfaces including hardwood, tile and stone floors. They will travel in a straight line, picking up dirt, dust and hair.
Each pad consists of a cleaning layer and a core.
The Damp Sweeping Pads sweep the floors wet.
They provide light mopping as the robot travels in a straight line, without much of scrubbing action.
The single-pass motion cleans the floors without damaging delicate floorings like wood floors as the cleaning agent doesn't get rubbed in as much.
The pad consists of a scrubbing layer, wicking layer and an absorptive core for thorough cleaning, and it's also soaked in mild, water-activated cleaning agent. You won't be needing any extra floor cleaner, and the pad's cleaning agent won't damage the floors.
You can use the Wet Mopping Pads when you're needing more aggressive cleaning.
With the Wet Mopping Pads, the robot travels in 3 consecutive patterns, mimicking the scrubbing motion. This allows the robot to remove more stubborn dirt and stains.
The Wet Mopping Pads also consists of the scrubbing layer, wicking layer and absorptive core, along with the water-activated cleaning agent.
A pack of the pads include 10 cleaning pads, and they have fresh aroma.
You can slide a pad through the slot like so, and the robot's ready to clean.
