DIY Dog Biscuit Mixes!!

I bake my own cookies and biscuits for my dogs, so I had to try this Dog Biscuit Mix from King Arthur Baking Company. I saw this while I was ordering some bags of flour, and it seemed so much fun.

Each box contains 1lb dry biscuit mix and a packet of yeast.
In addition to the biscuit mix, you’ll need ¾ cup lukewarm water, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 large egg. The yeast packet is included in the mix (for you to add separately), so you won’t have to worry about it.

The mix smelled a lot of carrots, and I was hesitant at first if my dogs are going to like them. Hint: they don’t like carrots, ha! But turned out, my doggies are begging for these baked goodies.
I used a stand mixer to mix in the ingredients.

The dough was thick and sticky but manageable.

The box says the mix bakes about 16 medium-sized dog biscuits. I don’t know the specific “medium” size biscuits they were referring to, but the mix made a lot more than 16 biscuits!
The instructions are simple and easy to follow. Even a novice baker can make delectable, fresh dog cookies!
It was a fun little baking sesh.
