During the time I worked at a pet store, Kong toys were the best-selling dog toys.

Kong makes durable interactive play toys for dogs, and most of their stuff withstands intensive play.

The Wubba can be tossed around, tugged, and it squeaks, satisfying many dogs’ desire to chew, chase, and tug. I actually own a couple of Kong toys for my 2 dogs, and they almost always pick the Wubba in the toybox.

I find the stuffed-animal-looking toys to be too fragile, and they are going to break easily if your dog is an aggressive chewer. I prefer the Wubba because it is made of stronger and more durable material but isn’t as hard as rubber or plastic.

My dog goes nuts for these “legs”!

The tightly-woven knot doesn’t come apart easily, either.
