The detergent and fabric conditioner are scented in the Laundress New York’s own No. 10 scent, and it is such a sophisticated smell that all my family members are obsessed with it.
I was never a fan of Downy or Snuggle. I always thought they smelled artificial and fake, even more so on clean clothes. Instead, I’ve been using Mrs. Meyer’s laundry products for years before I switched to the Laundress’. The subtle but extraordinary scent of No. 10 has completely won my heart!
You really need a small amount of detergent to get the load cleaned, even less if you have a high-efficiency washing machine. I use less than the recommended amount, and my laundry still comes out clean and fresh.
I don’t use fabric conditioner (softener) for towels and activewear; however, I use it sparingly on bedding and cotton clothes, etc. They come out soft, and the scent seems to last longer whenever I add the conditioner.
