If you’re an avid cook like me who spends a great deal of time in the kitchen, you’re bound to collect various food containers and gadgets. Or maybe that’s just me, haha. Anyway, I’ve been looking for a container for storing honey since I buy it in bulk that comes in a huge jar – not easy to move around. I found just what I was looking for at Le Creuset, and I couldn’t be happier.

The pot is available in 2 colors: White and Dijon.

I love the Dijon color because it screams delectable honey and adds a fun pop of color in the kitchen, especially in spring/summer.

But since I keep honey on the kitchen counter all year long, I bought the classic white honey pot. It blends in nicely in my white craftsman kitchen. Simply gorgeous.

The pot holds 16 ounces of honey, small enough for countertop use even in smaller or crowded kitchens. It measures 5” in height and 4” in width.

The stoneware honey pot comes with a silicone dipper for easier dispensing of honey. The handle is made of wood, so it needs to be hand-washed.

The dipper is easy to use and convenient for drizzling honey – a cup of tea or blueberry parfait.

The stoneware pot and lid are dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe, making the cleanup and reheating a snap. Every time I empty a jar, I run it in a dishwasher to avoid potential contamination before I pour in more honey. Tossing it in a dishwasher saves me the hassle of wrestling with sticky honey residue with a dish scrubber.

And the pot is great for reheating crystalized honey in winter because I can quickly microwave it. It gets notoriously cold here in Chicago, so the feature is very much appreciated.
