Ah – who doesn’t love wafer cookies? Layers of sweet fillings just waiving at you. I’ve been indulging in Quadratini since I was in college. The 24-hour convenience store on our campus always had Quadratini in stock for me to go crazy on midterm cram sessions, which definitely helped my Freshman 15. Although I try to eat healthier than sustaining on ramen noodles and chocolate bars, Quadratini will always have a special spot in my heart.
These soft and scrumptiously sweet snacks are amazingly great with coffee. They are, in fact, my favorite coffee snacks after lunch. You get a bag full of bite-sized crunchy wafer cubes that are filled with sweet cream fillings that everyone in my house finds irresistible.
The bag comes with a piece of sticky tape for convenient storage although you won’t be needing it if you’re snacking on it while trying to memorize stages of mitosis at 3 in the morning, ha!
Quadratini comes in 12 delicious flavors (vanilla, chocolate, lemon, dark chocolate, napolitaner, coconut, blackcurrant, cappuccino, tiramisu, espresso, raspberry yogurt, and cocoa&milk), but my favorite is hazelnut. I mentioned that I enjoy Quadratini with coffee, right? The smooth hazelnut cream filling adds such a rich flavor to my otherwise ordinary espresso or americano.
I have not yet found a single store that carries all 12 flavors (would be something to discover, for sure!), and I haven’t even tried all flavors. Who knows, if I find some new flavor to try that I fall in love with?
Like all cream filling-based or chocolatey biscuits, these are not light snacks that you can enjoy mindlessly. 8 wafer cubes pack 150 calories, but they are yummy.
