I am so glad Ulta carries L’Oreal Professionnel products. They are more expensive and harder to find than the regular L’Oreal hair products, but their qualities are unparalleled.
I’ve tried most of the Serie Expert line of products (Vitamino Color A-OX, Absolut Repair Lipidium and Inforcer), and the Vitamino Color A-OX is hands down the best in terms of smell, texture and efficiency.
It smells simply wonderful! The scent fills the shower when I’m washing my hair but isn’t overpowering. For the scent alone, it gets an A+. Compared to the Absolut Repair Lipidium, which aims to restore and repair, the smells is much lighter and refreshing. I loved how the Absolut Repair Lipidium soften my hair, but I just couldn’t get passed that old lady smell.
The shampoo lathers like other drugstore shampoos, and it doesn’t take much to lather and wash my long hair. I love the way my hair feels after a good wash with this shampoo. My hair feels cleaner and softer than with other shampoos.
The Vitamino Color A-OX line prolongs the color radiance for color-treated and highlighted hair. Apparently, my hair is particularly susceptible to sun damage and loses color much quickly. The shampoo really helps with keeping the luster and shine. My hair is noticeably less dull and is more vibrant.
If your color-treated hair needs some extra TLC, I strongly suggested the Vitamino Color A-OX shampoo.
