I love taking baths, and Lush’s bath bombs are indispensable to my weekly bath routine.
There are many bath bombs (bath fizzles) out there, but nothing comes close to Lush’s bath bombs. They are so moisturizing, make my skin ultra-soft, and have the most decadent fragrances. I stop by a Lush store whenever I’m doing some shopping. I just can’t resist the heavenly world of bath products.
Shopping for bath bombs at Lush is so fun because there are so many of them all the time. There are a few staples, of course, like Sex Bomb that’s been around for years. But Lush comes up with new bath bombs or bubble bars now and then, and I love sniffing them.
My favorite bath bombs are Intergalactic and Sex Bomb – they make your skin so soft and smooth!
This time, I went for the bubble bars.
I find the sales associates who work at Lush to be very helpful and delightful to talk to since they seem to really enjoy working there. Based on my many previous experiences, they were cordial, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They recommend your products after asking you a few questions and introducing you to different scents that you did not think you’d like.
I usually gravitate toward floral-scented products, and the sales associate suggested the “Spinning Plates” when I said I was looking for a bubble bar.
It combines the notes of fire tree oil, lemon myrtle, lemongrass, and orange flower to invigorate and energize your senses. I gave it a quick sniff, and it didn’t strike me as too citrusy and was weirdly addictive!
It spins under running water due to the wooden spinner at the center.
Another really cool thing about the Spinning Plates was that they were reusable bubble bars. You can use it a couple of times as long as you dry it out between uses.
Since each bar costs $9.95, being able to reuse it a few times definitely helps.
Lush strongly tries to minimize unnecessary packaging and advocates recycling.
True, they are not the cheapest bath products.
But taking a bath in a pool of bubble and scented water is such a treat, and it’s a great way to recharge in the middle of the week.
