Hardwood floors have been gaining popularity, and the trend is not going away anytime soon. I’ve always preferred hardwood over carpeted floors since hardwood is easier to clean and looks much better. Vacuuming the floor is just simply not going to cut it! Installing hardwood floors was not as daunting and expensive as I’d imagined, and I love my new floors!

Bona is a reputable, highly-recommended floor cleaner brand. I’ve gone through a few Bona bottles myself, and this time, I tried the hardwood cleaner from Method. And I’ll be permanently switching to Method!

First the fragrance. It’s got the most delectable almond smell that makes mopping more enjoyable. It leaves the house smelling pleasant for half an hour, too! For the fragrance alone, I definitely prefer Method over Bona since Bona is unscented. I don’t think I’ve ever seen almond-scented cleaning products, and it is so refreshing and pleasant. Glad it’s not another artificial citrus scent.

Second, the bottle. The name “Squirt + Mop” says it all. It is a decent size for me to carry it around the house and is not too heavy. The ergonomically designed shower-nozzle spray dispenses the cleaner evenly and widely. I squirt the cleaner as I go, and I get just the right amount of liquid to clean the floors thoroughly. It is much easier to use than other spray-type cleansers.

And of course, the cleaner effectively cleans the hardwood (or laminate) floors without damaging them. This biodegradable, cruelty-free cleaner removes muddy paw prints, dirt, or sticky residue from food scraps left behind.

I love this delightful cleaner. I reach for the floor mop more often now!
