Miele DishClean Dishwasher Conditioner

This is what I use to keep my dishwasher sparkly clean. 

You might think that dishwashers don't need to be cleaned because they clean themselves every time they run a cycle. However, improperly maintained or neglected dishwashers develop funky odors and interfere with their performance. 

I've been buying Miele's DishClean for years now. 

I use one to clean my dishwasher every month. Depending on how frequently you use your dishwasher, you can adjust the maintenance schedule. I just like to clean my dishwasher every month because I run it every day. 

Inside DishClean is a thick, Vaseline-like hard cleaner. 

You can insert the DishClean upside down in one of the dishwasher's tongs through the hole on the side. The hole ensures the DishClean from moving around and holds it in place so the cleaning paste fully dissolves in water. 

Once inserted, it's ready to go. 

I use my dishwasher's Clean Machine cycle; however, you can use the intense cleaning mode if you don't have a separate machine cleaning cycle. The hotter the water temperature, the better. 

Once the cycle is finished, DishClean is completely empty, and my dishwasher is squeaky clean.
