I bought this dishwasher freshener from Miele on a whim, and I’m pleasantly surprised with how it keeps my dishwasher smelling so fresh and clean. I pride myself in taking good care of my kitchen appliances; however, my dishwasher develops this oily smell every time I wash something that’s badly soiled or greasy – bacon grease or fatty meats leave this nasty grease scent behind that is very hard to get rid of. The scent is a refreshing citrus scent that reminds me of Cascade dishwasher detergent. It’s not particularly overwhelming; however, it is definitely present. For that reason, I use this freshener whenever my dishwasher smells – aka when I’m washing greasy pots and pans!
