I used to shop at high-end department stores and Sephora for all of my skincare products. I prided myself on taking such great care of my skin as I was spending a fortune every month on premium skincare products. As I did more research on how these brands set their prices though, and just how bad some of the ingredients these products contained, I could no longer justify higher price tags.

This Ultra Whitening Ample was recommended by a Korean Youtuber, and I decided to give this a try to prevent sunspots. The word “whitening” means something entirely different in the Korean beauty industry. Whitening products aim to prevent the formation of freckles or blemishes and reduce the appearance of pre-existing blemishes. Essentially, whitening products strive to clear one’s complexion.

I was eager to put this serum to a test. Miguhara’s Ultra Whitening Ample contains Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Niacinamide, Allatonin and Zanthozylum Piperitum Fruit Extract. Niacinamide is a well-known form of vitamin B3 (niacin) that addresses acne, rosacea, wrinkles, and pigmentation concerns.
The serum comes in a glass bottle with a convenient dropper, so you can dispense just the right amount of serum per application.

It is offered in several sizes, to my knowledge. I purchased the smaller size (20ml) because I wasn’t sure if I was going to love it.

I must get this in a larger size next time, though. I love it. It gets absorbed into my skin instantly, and I don’t get that sticky residue some serums or ampules leave behind. My skin appears more radiant and glowy, ever since I incorporated this serum into my skincare routine. I started seeing some improvement after about 2 weeks of regular usage.
