Things like candle snuffers are never on one’s shopping list until you need them. They’re also something you probably don’t wanna buy enthusiastically. Maybe it’s just me, but who gets excited about a new candle snuffer? I never even bothered to think about candle snuffers because you don’t actually need them, but Diptyque’s snuffer is so pretty and cute that I don’t regret buying it.
The snuffer has a full-chrome body and feels very substantial.
Snuffing out candles feels much safer with the snuffer, and it creates less smoke once the candles are snuffed.
Unlike a candle snuffer, a wick trimmer was something I purchased immediately along with my candles because longer wicks cause larger flames and therefore can be quite dangerous.
I really like how the snuffer and wick trimmer go together very well.
The wick trimmer has a matte, brushed stainless finish, whereas the snuffer has a chrome finish. They look and feel different upon closer look, but the different finishes don’t bother me at all.
