Whenever I’m expecting guests, I try to keep the guest suite as accommodating and comfortable as possible. Clean sheets, bottles of water, and miscellaneous items make their stay a little more comfortable.

I always keep Aesop’s Post Poo Drops and Mouthwash in the guest bathroom, and everyone who’s stayed at my place commented on how great they were.

Aesop - The Mouthwash

Along with basic toiletries, I keep a bottle of mouthwash in the guest room.

It’s probably because I’m one of those people who always use mouthwash, assuming that others will use it as well.

I start my day with mouthwash and end with the help of my favorite Aesop Mouthwash.

It is by far the most satisfying mouthwash that refreshes my breath without having me break into tears.

The brown bottle looks so great in my bathroom – matches my oil-rubbed bronze faucets.

But aside from the (huge) aesthetic advantage, the Aesop mouthwash is actually really good.

The formula includes natural ingredients like clove bud, anise, and spearmint leaf to maintain gum health and effectively freshen up your breath.

It doesn’t sting as most mouthwashes do, but it keeps your mouth feeling refreshed and clean.

And it tastes so good – no nasty chemical taste or “toothpaste-y” aftertaste.

It comes in a 500ml bottle, which lasts me about a month.

And you get this cute measure cup!

A few of my friends came over and tried it, and they ended up getting the mouthwash for themselves.

Aesop - Post Poo Drops

As the name suggests, it is a bottle of deodorizing drops intended for toilet bowls.

It can be embarrassing to leave the bathroom after they do their “business”, and the Post Poo Drops is a much better alternative to Febreze filled with nauseating artificial gas.

After flushing, dispense a few drops directly into the toilet bowl.

The bathroom will soon be filled with the calming scents of tangerine pee, ylang ylang, and mandarin peel.

I love the smell of most Aesop products.

They remind me of high-end spas or hotels that exclusively use natural products.

The smell isn’t overwhelming but definitely noticeable.

The scent lasts until the next flush, which is always a plus.

The refreshing orange and citrus scent lasts a long time so can be used instead of a diffuser or an air freshener.

I know that some people are asthmatic or allergic to a spray-type air freshener, so the Post Poo Drops is a much safer amenity to have in the bathrooms.

It may seem like a joke, but it’s surprisingly effective and pleasant.

You’ll notice the difference right away, and your guests will appreciate it!

If you’re expecting some guests this weekend and are looking for ways to make them feel extra special, I highly recommend the Post Poo Drops and the Mouthwash.
