Wow – this concealer is just amazing.
I have a drawer full of concealers that I bought over the years, and I clearly favor this the most. Every time I wear the Radiant Creamy Concealer from NARS, I look more radiant and healthier. Isn’t that the ultimate confidence booster or what?
For a concealer, it is on the more expensive end; however, I find it to be completely worth it. It’s so much better and more economical to invest in a concealer that you’re going to love and use than get a dozen of cheaper concealers that are going to be forgotten in a drawer.
A little tip I’ve picked up from years of experience is that you can’t use the same shade of concealer to correct all blemishes. You’ll need to identify the characteristic of each area that needs correcting, focusing on the undertone of the blemish.
I find the Radiant Creamy Concealer to be extremely effective in concealing any dark spots and scars due to its great coverage, color, and texture. If you’re looking for an under-eye concealer, I suggest trying a concealer with a peachy undertone to neutralize the blueish hue that’s commonly found under the eyes.
There are many dupes out there, including the one from Maybelline (which I’ve used); however, I find the Radiant Creamy Concealer to be longer-lasting and have better shade selections. It adheres to the skin really well and doesn’t crease much. I can build coverage by adding more layers; however, most concealers I’ve used looked extremely cakey whenever I attempted it. And once the concealer sets in, it will not budge! It stays on all day, and I rarely need to touch it up during the day.
The concealer has a thick consistency, but it still applies smoothly using the wand-type applicator. It reminds me of a thick foundation without the heaviness if you know what I mean. It’s never sticky and doesn’t clog my pores.
NARS has a wide selection of colors that focuses on undertones for the optimal shade match. I use Cannelle (#2.75), which is for light skin with peach undertones, and it is a perfect match for my skin.
The Radiant Creamy Concealer is my best friend, and I wear it literally every time I go out, even on low-key errand days. The best of the best.
