Who doesn’t love sweetened condensed milk? If you’re Vietnamese or are familiar with Vietnamese culture, you must have cans of sweetened condensed milk neatly stacked in your pantry. My college roommate was Vietnamese, and he was the one who introduced me to the world of Vietnamese coffee. And my obsession with sweetened condensed milk has begun.

For the longest time ever, sweetened condensed milk was something only bakers use as they can be found in the baking supplies aisle. Considering that the closest baking I’ve done was watching my mom bake, I was definitely not familiar with sweetened condensed milk.

Oh man, it’s soooooooo good. First of all, it’s delicious itself – think of it as condensed creamy sweetness. It tastes nothing like evaporated milk, which I first thought was going to taste the same.

Adding a spoon or two of sweetened condensed milk transforms your regular coffee into delicious Vietnamese coffee. If you like bulletproof coffee (with butter), Vietnamese coffee is a sweeter version. I specifically looked for sweetened condensed milk in this bottle container because it makes dispensing it so much easier. Because sweetened condensed milk is really thick and sticky, having a squeezable dispenser makes your morning coffee routine much easier. Most sweetened condensed milk comes in cans, so storing can be annoying because you only need 1-2 spoons of condensed milk at a time.

The bottle comes well sealed, so the contents stay fresh.

The bottle needs to be stored in a refrigerator once opened.

Love Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk!
