My love for enamelware goes a long way. I fell in love with enamelware ever since I discovered MacKenzie Childs for its durability, light weight, and superior ability to keep food fresher for longer. I wanted to collect all MacKenzie-Childs' kitchen items; however, the rather high prices deterred me to splurge. I came across Noda Horo’s enamelware collection, and I’m actually glad I didn’t get MacKenzie Childs. Noda Horo Enamelware containers are more economical, and these crisp white containers go better with my modern kitchen and table settings.

It was difficult to find Noda Horo containers in the United States, with them being made in Japan. Thank God Amazon for carrying a few of Noda Horo products. I bought a small, flat container to store leftovers. The container holds 0.8L.

The great thing about enamelware is that it can go straight from the freezer/fridge to the stove, and then to the tabletop. Unfortunately, it is not microwavable; however, I prefer to keep the food fresher longer in the enamelware. I just move the food to a microwave-safe bowl, if it needs to be microwaved.

The lid shuts tightly and keeps air from going in.
Very functional and pretty.
